Orbit CME offers two straightforward methods to earn your required credits quickly.

Orbit CME Dashboard
Orbit CME Dashboard
Choose this option if:
You prefer not to install additional software.
You want to earn on any platform - iOS, Android, Mac, PC.
You have restrictive hospital firewall settings.
You need to start earning credits immediately.
Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up for an Orbit CME account or login to your Orbit CME Dashboard. You can do this on desktop or mobile browsers.
2. On your Dashboard, select a topic goal card. Use the quick search links to initiate a learner-directed search of our curated database of free full-text journal articles. Choose an article relevant to your clinical practice.
3. Click Read more on your selected article to begin the learning activity.
4. Under Step 1, click on the "Click here" link to open the article in a new tab.
5. When you're done reading, close the article tab to return to the Orbit dashboard. The Next button should now be blue. Click on it to move forward.
6. Complete the post-article survey.
7. Click Redeem to see your topic credit gauge fill automatically.
Ambient Mode
Ambient Mode
Choose this option if:
You prefer reading eligible full-text articles with the browser extension or iOS app.
You prefer earning credits through your routine clinical reading
Here’s how it works:
2. Click on Apps in the left navigation bar on your Dashboard, or use these links to install your preferred Orbit app for ambient mode:
Orbit CME browser extension for desktop Chrome or Edge, including Mac or PC
Orbit CME app for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad
3. Login to your Orbit CME account on your browser extension or iOs app.
4. Read eligible full-text articles relevant to your clinical practice. Orbit CME records eligible article visits for redemption.
5. Check the History tab on your Orbit CME Dashboard or iOS app to redeem detected articles.
