How do I earn credits with Ambient Mode?

Use the Orbit Chrome extension to search, read eligible articles, and redeem credit.

Written by Faith

Ambient Mode works in the Orbit browser extension in Chrome and Edge on Windows or Mac computers. Start with a question from your practice, search for an eligible article, read it, complete the evaluation, and redeem to claim credit.

Orbit doesn't recommend articles or provide a feed.

Browser extension

Install Orbit CME – Ambient Mode for Chrome, then open it from the Chrome toolbar. Orbit opens in the right side panel, next to the article you're reading. Drag the divider to change the panel width.

Before you open Radiopaedia articles, install and turn on uBlock Origin Lite when the setup prompt asks. Orbit checks ad blocking on the article page before credit is available.

Search, read, and redeem

  1. Open Dashboard → Search all articles and enter your clinical question or terms based on it.

  2. Select the Radiopaedia filter to search eligible Radiopaedia articles.

Orbit supports about 6,400 Radiopaedia articles, and eligibility is checked for each one.

Choose an eligible article that answers your question and read it. In the Article tab, confirm the eligibility message, then select Redeem CME to complete the evaluation.

To come back to an article later, open History → Unredeemed.
