Start with a question from your practice, find an eligible article in the Orbit side panel, read it, and redeem credit.
Set up the extension
Install Orbit CME – Ambient Mode in Chrome or Edge on a Windows or Mac computer.
Open it from the browser toolbar. Orbit opens in the right side panel. Drag the divider to resize it.
Before you open Radiopaedia articles, install and turn on uBlock Origin Lite when prompted. Orbit checks that ad blocking is on before credit is available.
Search for an article
Open Dashboard → Search all articles, enter your clinical question or related terms, and select the Radiopaedia filter. Orbit supports about 6,400 Radiopaedia articles. Eligibility is checked for each one, and availability may change.
Check eligibility
In the side panel, select Article. Eligible articles show “Eligible for CME credit through Orbit.” Expand Why this article qualifies to see the eligibility checks, or open Activity information & disclosures for activity details.
If the panel can't verify eligibility or ad blocking, follow its instructions and reload the article. Not every page on Radiopaedia or other websites is eligible.
Redeem your credit
After reading, select Redeem CME.
On Choose a topic, select the topic that matches what you learned, or use Search all topics.
Complete the evaluation, submit your claim, and check the confirmation and your credit record.
Opening or reading a page alone doesn't earn credit. Your credit date is the date you finish redeeming. If an ABIM MOC assessment is offered, complete that separate assessment to earn the related MOC points.
To redeem later, open History → Unredeemed and select Redeem CME. An entry in History doesn't guarantee the article is still eligible, and older records may show different actions.
Work toward your requirements
The Dashboard tab shows your compliance progress. Select Switch to choose a license or board, then select Search related articles under a requirement. Let your clinical question guide the article you choose, and confirm that the article and topic fit the requirement.
