How do I respond if I'm audited by the NCCPA?

Learn how to use Orbit documentation to fulfill NCCPA audit requirements.

Handling audits from the NCCPA is easy with Orbit CME.

About audits from the NCCPA

Towards the end of each two-year certification period, you complete an attestation with the NCCPA that you finished 50 credits over the past two years. You won't need to send them certificates, unless you're audited.

The NCCPA has told us that they never audit Category 2 credits, because they're essentially credit for self-study. The Category 1 credit however is audited, and that's where Orbit's easy-to-generate documentation comes in.

1. Generate your audit report by following the instructions here.

  • Check your dashboard to make sure you’ve fulfilled all the required 50 credits.

  • Make sure that you’re generating an audit report for the correct range.

2. Generate your specialty certificate by following the instructions here.

3. Download or print your certificates and/or audit report.

And that’s it!

Administrative drudgery is light and easy when you're working with Orbit CME. Take the extra time and go enjoy the afternoon.
