Yes. The ABA accepts Orbit CME for your MOCA 2.0 Quality Improvement (QI) points requirement. You need 25 points every 5 years from ABA-approved activities, and you can complete all 25 in Orbit.
If you haven't signed up yet, register for any Orbit Anesthesiology plan.
Step 1: Tag articles (15 QI points)
The ABA accepts up to 15 QI points every 5 years from articles you tag in Orbit, under point-of-care learning.
Start with a question from your practice. Search for and read eligible articles about patient care topics you're encountering, through your Orbit Dashboard or Ambient Mode.
Redeem those articles with the QI Points (ABA) tag. Without this tag, your credits won't register as QI points.
Step 2: Earn the QI Points Bonus (10 QI points)
On your Dashboard, select the Anesthesiology Board Certification license.
Select the QI Points Bonus (ABA Part 4) goal card.
Complete all three requirements listed there: Anesthesiology, Patient Safety, and QI Points. At least one article you redeemed through Orbit's current activity must count toward those goals. Imported credits alone don't unlock the bonus.
About the QI Points Bonus
The QI Points Bonus is an ABA-approved QI activity. You use your Dashboard to track your MOCA 2.0 requirements, check your progress over time, and close any gaps. Anesthesiologists in every practice type use Orbit CME for QI points, from solo practice to large groups.
If you're audited
Review your earned credit records in Orbit and in your ABA portal, and keep documentation for your completed activities.
