Extension update
The old Orbit extension has been retired
Article detection in the old extension does not count toward the new activity. New article tracking and submissions through that extension have been disabled.
The new extension, Orbit CME - Ambient Mode, is now available in the Chrome Web Store.
This is a separate extension. Installing it will not automatically remove the old one.
Disable or remove the old extension
- Open your browser menu and select Extensions, then Manage Extensions.
- Find the old Orbit CME or Orbit for Chrome extension.
- Turn it off or select Remove.
Open the new extension and sign in
After installing Orbit CME - Ambient Mode, pin it to your browser toolbar and open it. Sign in with your existing Orbit CME account and follow the setup instructions.
The old extension may still display a cached “eligible” or “qualified” indicator. That indicator does not confirm that a new submission was accepted.
Your previously recorded history and certificates have been preserved.
