How to fulfill your MOCA 2.0 Quality Improvement Requirement

Simplify ABA-required QI points for your entire practice with Orbit Compliance...

As part of your MOCA 2.0 requirements you will need to complete 25 points every 5 years of an ABA-approved QI project. Orbit is specifically approved for this requirement.

To complete the full 25 points every 5 years, you'll just need to set up Orbit Compliance at your practice, which lets your colleagues continually measure and improve their compliance with MOCA 2.0 credit.

We can help you and everyone at your anesthesiology practice finish their Part 4 requirement.

How do I setup Orbit Compliance at my practice?

1. Email support@orbitcme.com and cc your practice administrator to request an Orbit Compliance account for your practice.

2. Have your practice administrator enroll all of the anesthesiologists in your practice using the Orbit administrator dashboard.

3. Have everyone complete their MOCA 2.0 requirements through their Orbit accounts.

It's that simple. By using Orbit Compliance, you've initiated an ABA-approved QI project, that also allows your anesthesiologists to complete all of their MOCA 2.0 part 2 credits, ABA-approved patient safety credits, and Part 4 Quality Improvement points.

Can I satisfy Part 4 without setting up Orbit Compliance?

Well, partially. If you cannot setup Orbit Compliance for your practice, you can still use Orbit Anesthesiology to earn 15 credits in Anesthesiology during patient care, and this will satisfy up to 15 points towards the 25 point requirement every 5 years, under the point-of-care learning category for QI points.

What does Orbit Compliance do?

Orbit Compliance is designed to satisfy your QI points by simplifying MOCA 2.0 compliance for your entire practice.

  • tracks MOCA 2.0 credit requirements for each anesthesiologist
  • allows anesthesiologists to earn those credits by surfing the web
  • recommends useful peer reviewed articles
  • provides reminders on state licenses

Orbit Compliance works with Mac or PC (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge), iPhone, and iPad. Users who rely on Android can view their compliance status, but will need to use one of these other platforms to earn credits.

What happens if my practice is audited?

Because your MOCA 2.0 credits auto-sync weekly to your ABA portal, audits from the ABA are simplified. Orbit Compliance also provides on-demand documentation for practices being audited by other agencies like state medical boards.

How do I get started with this Quality Improvement Project?

Have your practice administrator email support@orbitcme.com and we will get your practice set up with Orbit Compliance.
